This position encompasses a variety of duties designed to improve the sales of the furniture division of WJ Office. Based in our Winston-Salem office, this role would involve communication with our furniture project sales team and help with quotes and onsite visits to measure and aid in creating more sales. Excellent communication skills, time management, attention to detail and organization skills are a requirement for this role.
One of the biggest time management issues that we have presently is the handling of smaller quotes and transmitting them to the customer. This role will handle that and also operate as an administrative assistant to the furniture sales team. Ordering, tracking orders, and scheduling deliveries will be handled by the team in the corporate office in Boone. On site project management, quoting, on site follow ups in the Piedmont/Triad area will be handled by the person in this position.
Drawing – Drawing is a significant part of this role. The technical skill set and ability must be part of the aptitude of this individual. He/she would be using 20/20 CAD software, Auto Cad, and possibly Revit software and will need to easily pick this up along with an eye for detail and the ability to effectively communicate with customers, vendors, designers, and WJ staff both orally and through emails.
This position will be required to respond, assemble and research bids, RFP’s, RFQ’s and any other requests for pricing. He/she must be able to work with the manufacturers, installers, and freight carriers to provide the team accurate pricing numbers and timelines.
Additional Software – This person must be well versed in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and must have experience with using a Customer Relationship Management software (CRM) as these will all be an integral part of their daily routine.
